Greetings
Athens, the epicentre of the World Cultural Heritage and Democracy, is the point of reference in the country. Our goal is to remain a city recognised worldwide and become one of the main tourist destinations.
For visitors, Athens is a crossroads where cultures and historical traditions meet modern life in a European capital. It is an “open air museum”, where visitors can easily discover the archaeological sites, walk around the classical historical monuments, the Acropolis, the Herodion, the Stoa of Attalos, the Marathon of the new Acropolis Museum, the National Archaeological Museum and modern places of interest located in the city.
Places such as Piraeus Port -the country’s largest port, a global travel and commerce hub-, the Argo-Saronic islands, the coastlines, the magnificent beaches -where visitors can swim and practice water sports- and many other places of special interest provide the visitors with a taste of the rest of the country.
Athens can satisfy even the most demanding travellers, offering shopping, fun, unique accommodation in its hotel resorts, both for the hospitality and the organization of conferences and exhibitions. At the same time, visitors can taste the Greek cuisine, prepared with a wide variety of raw materials with high nutritional value.
Our goal is Athens, our capital, along with the rest of the country, in order to provide comfort, safety and surprising experiences to our visitors, who will have the opportunity to enjoy the traditional Greek hospitality.
