Ecoener came into being 35 years ago as a result of the vision of Luis de Valdivia, chairman and founder. The company is a team of more 100 highly-qualified professionals. The headquarters is located in La Coruña, Spain, one of the most advanced countries in the development of renewable energy.
Ecoener has increased its territorial presence, being present in 12 countries around the world. In Europe, the countries in which Ecoener operates are Greece, Poland, Italy and Romania. Ecoener currently has 341MW in operation, 399MW in construction and 1,509MW in development in all 3 technologies, wind, photovoltaic and hydroelectric. Ecoener is listed on the 4 stock exchanges of Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao and Valencia) since 2021.

In Greece, Ecoener Hellas was founded on March 6, 2023 and is a 100% subsidiary of Ecoener SA. Ecoener Hellas in its first year of presence in the country, has already created a pipeline of projects with a total capacity of more than 386MW, which is under development and consists of wind and photovoltaics with and without storage and storage projects stand alone. The first projects are expected to be Ready to Build by the end of 2025.
Ecoener Hellas aims to contribute to the global vision of Ecoener.
