Interactive Exhibition of Science, Art, and Mathematics “I Play and Understand”
The Interactive Exhibition “I Play and Understand” invites children and adults to come into contact with science, art, and mathematics by playing at interactive tables-exhibits. The first floor presents an introduction to the elemental mathematical concepts. Tables with interactive exhibits and works of art introduces us tor to the meaning of symmetry in nature and art, to a world of numbers and shapes, and also to simple algorithmic operations. The second floor offers a historical journey through the most important stages of scientific and mathematical thought, as well as of the arts. In this original Interactive Exhibition, the visitor experiences the inter-relationship among science, art, mathematics and philosophy, and realizes the twofold need of the human intellect for expression (art) and understanding (logic and mathematics).
Guided tours in English and French, seven days a week.
