Recently Greece has been increasingly established as a key destination for millions of tourists from all over the world, who prefer alternative forms of tourism.

One of these is sports tourism, a sector in which the Ministry of Sport has invested in order to link sport with the country’s economy and the development of local communities, especially those that have not yet been exploited for tourism.

We believe that sport is a vehicle for the development of societies on an economic and moral level and we remain faithful to the Olympic Ideals that were born in our country.

We are convinced that we will manage to give the added value that every place deserves to the blessed Greek land.

A very important focus of our policy is to upgrade the National Sports Facilities, and our intention is to completely renovate the Kaftanzoglio Stadium. The Kaftanzoglio Stadium have an increase in its budget of 150% coming from the state’s fundingin order to become completely operative as soon as possible. Resources that are unprecedented in terms of increase for such a funding.
